Cul de Bas

A Teeterboard company

Cul de Bas Productions

Cul de Bas is a circus collective founded in ECDF, Antwerp in 2023, originating from the trio project of Paul, Tadeusz, and Balte to combine their specialization in teeterboard with juggling. Now, several years later, the ambition is to continue growing with new members and to combine this with other circus specialties and art forms. In doing so, we want to combine humanity, curiosity, and creativity with technical circus skills.

Tadeusz Peetermans

Born in 2008, Antwerp. Involved in circus since the age of five. At ECDF, his passion for circus grew and has never faded. He is specialized in teeterboard, but that is certainly not all. In his spare time, Tadeusz also practices other circus disciplines and has traveled extensively for circus. He is currently highly motivated to do this for the rest of his life.

Lucas Baijot

Born in 2006. From Leuven. He has been doing teeterboard for a while now, but was already very athletic before that. He has been doing competitive gymnastics since he was 7, but has now made the leap to the circus world. Sport and exercise are his true passion. He is currently in his first year at ENACR in Paris.

Balte Tomboy

Born in 2003. Entered the circus world at the age of 15 with his passion for extreme unicycling. Other circus disciplines followed later when he decided to quit after two years of studying Archaeology & Art Sciences at the VUB. Teaching at ‘Circus Zonder Handen’ in Brussels, he was inspired by the dreams of the children there to start pursuing his own dream. After a year of jumping teeterboard at the 'springplank' project at ECDF and a year at 'Lezarticirque' in Switzerland, he is now at ENACR in Paris, still not regretting his decision to start pursuing this dream in 2023.

Paul Cornil

Jules took his first steps in circus at the age of 8 at the 'Woesh circus school' in Bruges. At this circus school, he also learned his first jumps on the teeterboard, but soon moved on to ECDF in Antwerp. He combines circus life with his studies in osteopathy (ULB), which certainly helps him to better understand the human (circus) body in terms of prevention and injuries during training. In addition to performing circus, he is also a circus teacher at 'Circus Zonder Handen' in Brussels.

Claire Jousset

Born in 2007. She began circus training as a hobby at the age of 5. She specialized in teeterboard at the ENC high school in Châtellerault. There she also learned banquine and hand-to-hand. She is currently in her first year at Enacr, training as flyer.

Oriane Collado

Born in 2005, she started circus training at the age of 7 in Louvain-la-Neuve, at the ECBW. Later, she also took classes at the circus school in Gembloux. At both schools, she participated in numerous creative projects. All of this made her want to perform more and making circus her profession. After trying many different disciplines, she left in 2023 for two years in Switzerland, at 'LeZarticirque', to continue her training in static trapeze. She is now in her first year at the 'Bordeaux Circus School'.
